I am a credible experienced leader within the Health and Social care arena with a specialist focus on Early Years, Children and Young People. 

As a values-based, compassionate leader I architect enabling environments across complex partnerships, teams and stakeholders leading to impactful change for Expectant Parent, Families babies and children and Race Health Inequalities. I have led on programmes which have been HSJ award winning and gained a wide range of accolade's.

I have cultivated my broad experience in delivering complex change for Early Years programmes through Sure Start, Children’s Centres, Early Help, and senior the leadership of “A Better Start” programme and now as a Public Health Principal leading the Best Start Strategy. 

I have a breath of systems experience and expertise in strategic decision-making, governance, collaborative commissioning, systems leadership, large-scale programme management, and relationship management across statutory, voluntary and charitable organisations , NHS, Local Authority. This has spanned  local and national programmes whilst operating in a political landscape.

Furthermore, my role as Chair of Governors of a standalone Academy have provided me with a wide range of experience in providing supervision and appraisal service’s. This wealth of experience has enabled me to build a set of skills which empower and enable an effective environment to deliver a high level of service. This experience is further enhanced by the following professional qualifications;

My motivation comes from seeing the success of those colleague's and impactful change within communities. Emotional intelligence comes naturally and is complimented by coaching and mentoring approaches.
